Oukitel is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that some of you are probably quite familiar with. This company had released a number of devices thus far, and quite a few of them feature huge battery packs on the inside, like the K6000 and K10000, two devices which we’ve reviewed in the past which sport 6,000mAh and 10,000mAh battery packs, respectively. This company is planning to release the Oukitel U13 soon and make it their new flagship, and while we’re waiting for that to happen, Oukitel has just introduced a new smartphone, the Oukitel K7000, read on.
We’ve talked about the Oukitel K7000 in the past, and the device has now been officially announced by the company. This smartphone is now listed on Oukitel’s website, and it actually quite odd, to say the least. Now, this smartphone actually comes with a 2,000mAh removable battery pack, but also ship with a 5,000mAh charger case called ‘Matrix’. This case is actually multifunctional, as it functions as the device’s power bank, regular protective case and a phone stand. The Oukitel K7000 sports a metallic frame, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. This smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Mediatek’s MT6737 64-bit quad-core processor fuels this smartphone, along with the Mali-T720P GPU. The 5-megapixel rear-facing camera can be found on this smartphone, and a 2-megapixel snapper is placed on the device’s front side. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here, and you’ll find some of Oukitel’s software on top of Google’s operating system. The Oukitel K7000 measures 144.7 x 71.7 x 8.65mm, while it weighs 158.5 grams. It is also worth mentioning that this is a dual SIM (2 x micro SIM), while you can use one of the two slots to insert your microSD card and expand the device’s storage.
The Oukitel K7000 comes in Gray and Champagne Gold color variants, and it will be available for pre-order starting today for $109.99. If for some reason you don’t like or need the ‘Matrix’ charging case, you can get this smartphone for $99.99, though that is not exactly recommended considering it ships with a 2,000mAh battery pack without the case.
