ASUS’ first ZenFone 3 devices were introduced back in May this year. Many people expected that the company will introduce those handsets back in January during CES, but that did not happen. Anyhow, the company had introduced the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Deluxe back in May, and about a month later the ZenFone 3 Laser and ZenFone 3 Max landed. In addition to all that, this Taiwan-based company had also introduced the second variant of their ZenFone 3 Deluxe flagship a while back, the Snapdragon 821-powered model, while the original is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC.
That being said, some ZenFone 3 handsets had been made available for pre-order in Canada quite recently, and the same just happened in the US. The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe and ZenFone 3 Laser are now available for pre-order in the US, but do keep in mind that you’ll have to wait a few weeks before they ship your way, if you decided to pre-order either one of them, of course. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes in both the Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821 variants as per Amazon, though only the Snapdragon 820 model is available at the moment, and it costs $530.48 in the US, while you’ll need to pay $206.95 for the ZenFone 3 Laser, if you’re interested. Both of these handsets come with a 1-year warranty, and are unlocked. Now, if you opt to pre-order one of these two devices, you’ll have to wait somewhere between 2 and 5 weeks to get them, so that’s definitely something you need to keep in mind. Considering these are unlocked GSM devices, they should be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile carriers in the US.
The ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe sports a 5.7-inch fullHD AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As per Amazon’s listing, the Snapdragon 820 model is now available, though you’ll see that they mention the Snapdragon 821-powered unit in the description. The 23-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this phone, and an 8-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The ZenFone 3 Laser, on the other hand, features a 5.5-inch fullHD IPS panel, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC fuels this phone, and a 13-megapixel OIS snapper is available on its back.
