Most of you are familiar with Samsung’s ‘Galaxy S’ and ‘Galaxy Note’ lineups, but this company also releases other, low and mid-range devices. The company’s ‘Galaxy J’ and ‘Galaxy A’ lineups are also present in a wide range of markets, though their ‘Galaxy C’ lineup is not. Samsung’s Galaxy C-branded smartphones are made for the Chinese smartphone market, they’re made out of metal (every single one thus far), and some of them are really well-specced, despite the fact these are mostly mid-range devices. The Galaxy C9 Pro which was introduced recently is actually a prime example of a really solid phone, it’s an upper-mid-range handset despite the fact it sports 6GB of RAM, and it is also the first 6GB RAM smartphone in Samsung’s portfolio.
That being said, it seems like the company is planning to release yet another ‘Galaxy C’ smartphone, the Galaxy C7 Pro. The company had already released the Galaxy C7 earlier this year, and its ‘Pro’ counterpart seems to be on the way, at least Zauba points in that direction. The Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) has been spotted on Zauba, as the device was shipped to India for testing purposes. Now, Zauba’s listing really does not reveal all that much info, it says that the phone has a display sized somewhere between 5.5 and 5.7 inches, and it also reveals its pricing, though this is not its final pricing, not by a long shot, so it’s not even worth mentioning, as these are only test units.
Now, the original Galaxy C7 features a 5.7-inch fullHD display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 625 SoC, and it sports a 3,300mAh battery as well. The phone comes with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. Chances are that the ‘Pro’ variant of the device will sport similar specs, but it will almost certainly going to be a more powerful device, hence the ‘Pro’ naming. This handset could ship with at least 4GB of RAM, and knowing Samsung, they could include the Snapdragon 652 chip inside of this device. The ‘Pro’ variant of the Galaxy C7 will be made out of metal, and it will probably look identical to its sibling, or at least really similar.
