Lenovo’s upcoming Moto M smartphone has leaked quite a few times in just the last month and half, and now a new set of images has leaked which are likely showing off the best picture yet of what consumers can expect of the phone in regards to design. If that wasn’t enough, the images that were leaked are accompanied by a mention of various hardware specification details and although neither the images nor the specs can be verified officially, the images match up with previous leaks, and the specs do appear to be fairly on point. Having said that, nothing is official, truly, until Lenovo actually announces the phone themselves which is rumored to be on November 8th.
The images and specs were posted to Twitter by Steve Hemmerstoffer earlier today, who is responsible for leaking plenty of other devices and details about those devices in the past. In regards to the specs, the ones mentioned by Hemmerstoffer look to be ripped straight from the screen on the phone, so chances are quite likely that what consumers can see here are what they will see when the phone is made official in the near future. Based on the images and the details mentioned, the Moto M will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, while coming powered by a MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz.
It’s said to come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and it should sport a 3,050mAh battery to keep the device powered on throughout the day. It’s also stated to have a 13MP rear-facing camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chat. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back which should be usable for unlocking the device as well as authorizing mobile payments. Lenovo has gone with USB Type-C for the charging and data transfer port that’s located on the bottom of the device which makes the Moto M right on par with the latest devices as far as this single detail is concerned. Lastly, it also looks like the Moto M is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow according to the image of the about phone screen in the settings menu.
