Motorola had introduced some really interesting phones this year, though they did not announce that many devices. The Moto Z and Moto Z Force are the most powerful devices the company had released, and the Moto Z Play is also quite a capable device, even though it belongs in the mid-range category. In any case, the Moto M smartphone has been leaking for weeks now, and if the latest info is to be believed, Motorola could introduce this smartphone on November 8th, and the Lenovo P2 could accompany it. As most of you know, Motorola is now owned by Lenovo, so it’s not exactly that unrealistic to see both the Moto-branded and Lenovo-branded devices get announced at the same time.
We’ve seen quite a few Moto M leaks thus far, and some spec info also leaked a couple of days ago. Well, a new leak has just popped up, and it gives us the best look at the Moto M smartphone thus far. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see quite a few promotional images for the company’s upcoming smartphone, and quite a few spec details as well. The Moto M will not be a flashy smartphone by any means, but it looks really nice, and sports on-screen buttons. The fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back of this device, right below the phone’s camera sensor. Speaking of which, this device will ship with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. The device will sport a 5.5-inch fullHD display, and on top of it, you’ll get the P2i water-repellent nanocoating. MediaTek’s Helio P15 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.2GHz will fuel this phone, and you’ll also get 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage as part of this package. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the device, and you can expect to see some of Motorola’s apps installed on top of it, of course. The 3,050mAh battery is here to make sure you don’t run out of juice ahead of time, or at least it should be able to make sure of that.
It seems like the device will be made out of metal, which was to be expected, and both of its physical keys will be placed on the right side of the phone. The Motorola Moto M is expected to cost around 1,999 Yuan ($290) in China, and we’re still not sure whether the company plans to release this phone in other markets.
