Xiaomi Sold Out Mi Note 2 In Just 50 Seconds In China

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Mi MIX are the company’s latest and greatest offerings. These two phablets were introduced a couple of days ago in China, and are the company’s new flagship phablets. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a long awaited successor to the Xiaomi Mi Note (Pro), and the Mi MIX is a bezel-less ‘concept’ handset which managed to surprise quite a few people. Both of these phones have a lot to offer both in terms of the design and specifications, the Mi Note 2 comes with a curved display and glass on the back, while the Mi MIX sports a ‘bezel-less’ display, the device has a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Having that in mind, consumers in China have been able to register for the Mi Note 2 flash sale for about a week now, ever since the device was introduced in China, and Xiaomi actually held their first Mi Note 2 flash sale in their homeland, the only market this device is currently available in. It took Xiaomi 50 seconds to sell all the available Mi Note 2 units during the first flash sale, which does not come as a surprise considering that the Mi Note 2 is quite affordable considering what it has to offer. We do not know how many Mi Note 2 units Xiaomi had at their disposal during the first flash sale, but we’re guessing that the company prepared quite a few units, as they usually do.

The Standard Edition of the Mi Note 2 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, and it is priced at 2,799 Yuan ($413) in China. The more expensive model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage, is priced at 3,299 Yuan ($487). Consumers had the option to purchase either the Glacier Silver or Bright Black Mi Note 2. Do keep in mind that Xiaomi also released a third, global option, which also comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, though that variant is still not available for purchase. Next flash sale is scheduled for November 8th, and we’re still waiting to hear more about the global version of this phablet. The Mi Note 2 features a 5.7-inch fullHD AMOLED display, and it is fueled by the Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core processor. The 22.5-megapixel shooter is located on the back of this device, and a non-removable 4,070mAh battery is also a part of this package.
