In the wake of what seems to be a waning Android Wear smartwatch lineup, the Michael Kors Access Bradshaw, which is the company’s second Android Wear smartwatch alongside the Access Dylan that launched earlier this year, is now available from the Google Store for the same $350 price tag. The differences between the two smartwatches are minimal at best, with the Bradshaw coming to market sporting an all metal link band instead of the rubberized strap that can be found on the Access Dylan model. Even with the metal band though, the Access Bradshaw can still swap out the straps for something more to the liking of the wearer, it all simply depends on your personal taste.
The Michael Kors Access Bradshaw also joins the ranks of the Google Store Android Wear lineup just as the Huawei Watch makes its exit, as the Huawei Watch was pulled from the Google Store earlier this afternoon, and it makes sense as it was getting a little bit long in the tooth having been announced and launched in 2015, whereas the Michael Kors models were both announced earlier this year.
When it comes to the insides of the watch, the same components are used here as in the Access Dylan, which means you’re getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor which was designed specifically for wearables. It’s also sporting 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which you’ll be using for apps as well as music if you keep songs on the device. Battery wise it comes with a fairly standard 400mAh battery so it should last just as long as the Access Bradshaw and other current Android Wear smartwatches, and it carries a speaker and a microphone, as well as a 1 ATM rating against dust and water. For connectivity you’ll find the usual Bluetooth support, as well as Wi-Fi connectivity support if you end up wanting to leave your device at home and connect the watch to wireless networks instead. Overall, the watch is a pretty standard offering and is in line with most of the other watches you can pick up from the Google Store. If you prefer this particular style of watch to the Access Dylan, now’s your chance to pick it up from Google.
