The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be announced really soon, as it was just certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC). The Galaxy C5 Pro’s design and specifications have been revealed by TENAA, and the device will launch in the coming weeks, quite probably alongside its sibling, the Galaxy C7 Pro, which has been popping up online for a while now. The Galaxy C5 Pro will be introduced in China first, and it remains to be seen if Samsung plans to launch it anywhere else, as the company’s ‘Galaxy C’ lineup is created for the Chinese market.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be made out of metal, and as you can see, it looks like a number of other Galaxy-branded smartphones. This seems to be a Gold-colored variant of the phone, and it comes with a physical home button which is placed below the display. This home button will act a fingerprint scanner as well, and the overview (multitasking) and back buttons are flanking the phone’s home key. The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will feature a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 626 64-bit octa-core SoC running at 2.2GHz, and a 3,000mAh battery will also be a part of this package, and we’re looking at a non-removable battery here. On the back of the Galaxy C5 Pro, you’ll get a 16-megapixel shooter, and a 16-megapixel snapper will be placed on the front side of this phone as well. 4G LTE connectivity is included in this package, and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will be pre-installed on this phone, along with Samsung’s custom UI. The device will measure 145.7 x 71.4 x 6.95mm, while it will weight 143 grams.
Now, if the previous info is to be believed, both the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro will be available in Pink, Gold and Dark Blue color variants. These two phones are expected to launch in January, and it seems like Samsung will introduce quite a few smartphones next month considering that the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are also expected to land in January.
