Huawei had released quite a few smartphones this year, no matter whether we talk about low-end, mid-range or high-end devices. This was a great year for Huawei, as the company had crossed the 100 million smartphones sales mark a couple of months ago, and they just keep on crushing their previous records, not to mention that they’re currently the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Having that in mind, the company has just released yet another smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 6s, read on.
The Huawei Enjoy 6s is a sibling to the Huawei Enjoy 6, we can’t really say this is its successor considering that the Huawei Enjoy 6 landed less than two months ago. These two devices are quite similar, though, both in terms of build and specifications. The Huawei Enjoy 6s is a very compact smartphone, it sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS LCD display, which is quite surprising considering the fact that the Huawei Enjoy 6 ships with an AMOLED panel. Anyhow, the Huawei Enjoy 6s also packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the phone comes with a 3,020mAh battery, which is a considerably smaller battery pack compared to the Enjoy 6’s 4,100mAh unit. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 SoC fuels this smartphone, and you also get two SIM card slots in this smartphone. The 13-megapixel camera is placed on the back of the Huawei Enjoy 6s, along with a single LED flash, and the 5-megapixel shooter can be found on the phone’s front side.
The Huawei Enjoy 6s is made out of metal, and it features a fingerprint scanner on its back, along with the company’s branding. It comes with two sets of physical keys all of which are located on the right-hand side of this smartphone, the power / lock button and volume rocker keys. Huawei is launching this smartphone in partnership with China Mobile, the phone is priced at 1,599 Yuan ($232), and it comes in Silver, Gold and White color variants. The phone is still not available for purchase, but will be sometime soon, though we doubt it will launch outside of China, maybe under a different name, we’ll see.
