Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro Gets Certified By The FCC

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro just got certified by the FCC. This certification more or less confirms that the phone is on its way, though it remains to be seen if it will be announced in the US considering that the ‘Galaxy C’ series of smartphones is aimed at the Chinese smartphone market. This certification did confirm one specific detail about the Galaxy C7 Pro, it seems like the phone will ship with a 3,300mAh battery on the inside. This phone will launch in China first, almost certainly, and who knows if it will reach any other markets after that, we’ll see what are Samsung’s plans for this smartphone.

The Galaxy C7 Pro will be a rather capable mid-range smartphone it seems, at least based on the previous info that surfaced. This handset was already certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC), and thanks to that listing, we not only know what will the device look like, but also what specs will it sport. The Galaxy C7 Pro will feature a 5.7-inch fullHD display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 626 64-bit octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, and the Adreno 506 GPU will also be included in this package. On the back of this phablet, you’ll be able to find a 16-megapixel camera, while you can expect to see Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box on this phone, even though there’s still a possibility Samsung might include Android 7.0 Nougat from the get-go, we’ll see. One thing is for sure, you will get Samsung’s custom UI on top of Google’s operating system.

According to the info that surfaced yesterday, the Galaxy C7 Pro will be announced on January 21st alongside the Galaxy C5 Pro. Do keep in mind that this info has not been confirmed by Samsung just yet, this is only a rumor, so take it with a grain of salt, we’ll just have to wait for either Samsung to release more info about the announcement, or actually announce these two phones, whichever comes first. Stay tuned for additional info, we’ll report back as soon as something new pops up.
