Honor 6X Will Launch In India On January 24th

Honor’s newly-announced Honor 6X smartphone will launch in India on January 24th, it has been confirmed. The company had sent out invites for the event, and if you take a look at the image down below, you’ll get to see the official teaser for the device’s launch in India. The Honor 6X was originally announced in China last year, but its official global announcement occurred during CES 2017 in Las Vegas, and it’s exactly what we expected it to be. The Honor 6X is a nice upgrade over its predecessor, the Honor 5X was a really solid smartphone and one of Honor’s best selling devices last year, and its successor is here to accomplish the same.

The Honor 6X is a metal-clad smartphone which comes with a dual camera setup on the back. The device has no physical keys on its front side, all of its physical buttons (power / lock and volume rocker keys) are placed on the right, while you’ll find the SIM card tray on the left side. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the device, and the LED flash is placed next to the device’s cameras. Speaking of which, the phone comes with 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel camera sensors on the back. The device’s 12-megapixel camera comes with a 1.25um pixel size, while PDAF is also a part of the package. An 8-megapixel snapper is placed on the front side of this smartphone, and a 3,340mAh battery (fast charging included) is also a part of the package. The phone features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable internal storage. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.1 skin. The device measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2mm, while it weighs 162 grams.

Now, the Honor 6X was announced in Gold, Silver and Gray color variants. The 3GB RAM variant of the device is priced at $249.99, while the 4GB RAM model costs $299.99. We do not know how much will the device cost in India, but these prices should at least give you some indication as to what you can expect.
