The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Play specs have just leaked yet again, though this time around we get more detail than before. Following Moto G5’s and Moto G5 Plus’ retailer listing in Brazil, and Moto G5 Play’s FCC listing, more spec info surfaced when the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Play are concerned. This information comes from Brazil as well it seems. The following info more or less confirms the specs that surfaced a couple of days ago, read on.
According to this info, the Moto G5 Play will sport a 5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. This handset will be fueled by the Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor, and Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to come pre-installed on this smartphone, with some additions by the company. A 13-megapixel snapper will be placed on the back of the Moto G5 Play , and a 5-megapixel camera will be available on its front side. A 2,800mAh battery is expected to be a part of this package, despite some previous info that said we’ll get a 3,000mAh battery here. The Moto G5 could sport a 3,000mAh battery, though, as these two devices will be quite similar in various ways, though the Moto G5 will be more powerful, and will ship with 3GB of RAM.
This new info also reveals that the Moto G5 Play will measure 144.3 x 72.8 x 8.9mm, while Bluetooth 4.1 is also mentioned here, and the same can be said for 4G LTE connectivity which will be available on the device, and its band support will vary from market to market, of course. Now, if recent reports are to be believed, the Moto G5 Play, Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus could all get announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona which kicks off at the end of last month, or at least one or two of those phones might land. Do keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed thus far, however, so take this info with a grain of salt, as is usually the case with rumors / leaks, and stay tuned for more info.
