The Google Store no longer lists Fossil’s Android Wear smartwatches as they have been pulled. The website still shows options for the Moto 360 2nd Gen in both the men’s and women’s variations, albeit without a buy button when you click on their pages, but since those aren’t available either as they’re out of stock and the Fossil watch pages have been removed, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see those disappear sometime soon, too. In regards to Fossil’s devices, the Google Store previously had page listings for the Q Founder which was Fossil’s first Android Wear smartwatch that was produced, as well as the Q Marshal and the Q Wonder. All three watches have disappeared from Google’s online store.
All three offerings are still available from Fossil themselves, so while you can’t buy them direct from Google any longer they’re still available for purchase elsewhere. Both the Fossil Q Founder and Fossil Q Marshal can also be found on Amazon if you’re a prime member and prefer to do your online shopping there instead.
The removal of the Fossil watches from the Google Store follows about a month behind the removal of the Huawei Watch, which Google took the listing down for in the beginning of December, and the Huawei Watch Jewel and Huawei Watch Elegant which were discontinued recently and can no longer be found on the various retailer websites that used to sell them, save for places like eBay. Those looking for a new Fossil offering can look forward to any of the three new watches that they unveiled at CES just this past week, as they’ll be offering three hybrid smartwatches for sale later this year in the Spring. Those looking for a new smartwatch right now still have a handful of options available currently including the Nixon Mission, the Michael Kors Access Dylan and the Michael Kors Access Bradshaw, as well as the Polar M600. Right now those are the only available options from Google, but with options from Fossil having been announced at CES as well as a new option from CASIO on the way, chances are it won’t be too long before the Google Store is listing more Android Wear devices.
