Veniamin Geskin is a person behind a number of Galaxy S8 renders released thus far, and he has just released a new image of the device, though this time around, it’s a real life image of the Galaxy S8. Veniamin Geskin has been releasing Galaxy S8 renders for quite some time now, and those seemed like third-party concepts, but he just shared a new image of the device, and surprisingly enough, we’re looking at a real life image of the Galaxy S8. Interestingly enough, this image resembles some previously leaked images, read on.
This is the rumor we’re talking about, as you can see, three images of the device leaked on January 5th, and that phone looks identical to the one that was shared by Veniamin Geskin. The source actually shared this image about 10 days ago, but it’s just making the rounds. We still cannot be sure that this is the real Galaxy S8 which Samsung plans to announce in the coming months, but it sure looks really nice, and it’s possible that it is the real deal. The device fits nicely with the company’s previously released devices in terms of the design, it has that recognizable design language, plus its display sides are curved. This particular smartphone does not have a physical home button below the display, the company’s branding is placed down there instead of the physical home button, and that also fits nicely with the latest rumors. This smartphone seems to be made out of metal and glass, though we cannot be sure considering we can only see its front side.
Now, if previous rumors are to be believed, Samsung plans to release two different Galaxy S8 units, a smaller Galaxy S8 variant, and the larger Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone. Both variants of the device are expected to sport a curved display, as Samsung is rumored to ditch the flat screen model this time around. The S Pen stylus has also been mentioned, and it could ship with the Galaxy S8 Plus, or come as an optional purchase. Samsung will probably utilize both the Exynos 8895 and Snapdragon 835 SoCs this year, only one will ship per device, of course, though their availability will depend on where you purchase your Galaxy S8 unit.
