The Xiaomi Mi 5c has just surfaced yet again, well, its back side did. The Xiaomi Mi 5c has been popping up for months now, and the company is expected to introduce it in the near future. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the alleged device next to the Honor 8. As you can see, the phone is made out of metal, though not its whole back side is covered by the same coat of pain, upper and lower region is darker than the rest, which looks similar to the Space Gray color on the iPhone 5 / 5s / SE.
A rear-facing camera sensor is placed in the upper left corner of the device, and so is the device’s LED flash. A logo on the back of the device has been censured, so we’re not sure that Xiaomi’s logo is on there, but it probably is considering this is not the first time we’re seeing this design leak. This very same design leaked back in October last year, when we were also able to see its front side. Now, if that leak is to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will look similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5, well, at least its front side will. The device will ship with a physical home key, it seems, and the fingerprint scanner will be built into it. So, what about its specs? Well, the phone actually popped up on both Geekbench and GFXBench quite recently, so we more or less know what to expect in the spec department, read on.
The Xiaomi Mi 5c is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This phone will be fueled by either the Helio P10 SoC by MediaTek, or Xiaomi’s upcoming Pinecone processor, though probably the latter. Android Nougat will probably come pre-installed on this smartphone, along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS which will be installed on top of it. A 13-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of the device, and an 8-megapixel camera will be located on the front side of this phone. We still don’t have the Xiaomi MI 5c’s battery info, but it will probably carry a 3,000mAh battery pack, or at least something close to that.
