LG has just announced yet another affordable smartphone, the LG X400. The company announced this smartphone in Korea, and it follows the announcement of the LG X300 which landed last month. The LG X400 is actually a rebranded LG K10, it’s almost the same smartphone, but it comes with a different name. Now, in addition to sporting a different name, the LG X400 also comes with an HD DMB for mobile TV experience, which is something the LG K10 does not have. For those of you who don’t know, the LG K10 is actually one of the ‘LG K’ smartphones this company introduced during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) last month.
The LG X400’s power / lock key is placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone, while you’ll find its volume rocker buttons on the left. LG’s logo lies below this phone’s display, and the device features a 5.3-inch 720p (1280 x 720) In-cell Touch display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. MediaTek’s MT6750 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this smartphone, and it is clocked at 1.5GHz, while it ships with the Mali-G860 GPU. This phone packs in 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage, while it ships with a 2,800mAh removable battery. A 13-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel camera (120-degree wide angle lens) can be found on its front side. The LG X400 also comes with a fingerprint scanner which lies on the back of this smartphone, and below it you’ll notice LG’s branding, which is also visible on the front side of this smartphone.
Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the LG X400,and 4G LTE connectivity is also included here. This phone also offers NFC and Bluetooth 4.2, while it comes in Gold and Black with Gold color variants. The LG X400 is priced at 319,000 won in Korea, which translates to $280. There you have it, we still don’t know when will this smartphone become available for purchase in Korea, but chances are that will happen really soon, just in case you’re interested. It’s also worth mentioning that LG plans to announce their ‘LG K’ series of smartphones in India tomorrow, so stay tuned for that.
