Xiaomi has just announced pricing for the Redmi Note 4X smartphone which was announced 5 days ago. As some of you might recall, Xiaomi had introduced the special edition Redmi Note 4X on February 8th, and they did say that the phone will become available on February 14th, on Valentine’s Day, they did not release pricing for the device. Well, we did not really have all that many details back when the device launched, but it seems like the company plans to release the device in both ‘regular’ and ‘special edition’ variants tomorrow, the regular variant will cost 999 Yuan ($145), while the special edition Hatsune Miku special edition will set you back 1,299 Yuan ($189), read on.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X special edition smartphone may have a reason to exist, of course, but the regular Redmi Note 4X is kind of a mystery, mainly because this is essentially the same smartphone as the Redmi Note 4, both in terms of the design and specifications, and that device is already on sale in China. We will have far more information tomorrow, but if the source is to be believed, the regular Redmi Note 4X will come in Matte Black, Gold, Gray and Cherry Powder colors, while the Hatsune Miku edition will be available in Green. Now, in addition to being a different color, this special edition variant of the device will ship with a limited edition power bank, customized case and the ability to download the Hatsune theme in the future. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X will go on sale on February 14th, and the sale will commence at 10AM (local China time) at Xiaomi Mall, Mi Home, Jingdong Mall (JD.com), Lynx and Suning Tesco in China. Do keep in mind that only Gray and Gold variants of the device will become available at 10AM tomorrow, while the Hatsune Miku edition of the device will go on sale starting at 2PM (local time) that very same day. Other color variants will go on sale on a later date it seems.

As far as specs are concerned, there is no difference between the regular variant and the Hatsune Miku variant of this smartphone. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
