A new LeEco-branded smartphone just surfaced on Geekbench, the LeEco XiubaleR, which is almost certainly its codename, nothing else. That being said, this smartphone is fueled by MediaTek’s Helio X20 64-bit deca-core processor, and it comes with 3GB of RAM, at least according to Geekbench. The phone managed to score 1,619 points in a single-core, and 3,833 points in a multi-core benchmark. Geekbench also says that this phone comes with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, and even though the source doesn’t mention it, this handset will ship with LeEco’s eUI user interface as well.
So, what are we looking at here? The LeEco XiubaleR seems to be a rather powerful mid-ranger, and this is actually not a surprise, as the company released a new smartphone teaser rather recently. LeEco teased an arrival of a smartphone which will offer balance between performance and battery life, which initially sounded like a mid-range handset with a respectable processor and a big battery, well, the LeEco XiubaleR definitely is a mid-range smartphone, and it does come with a really powerful SoC, but we still don’t know its battery details. Chances are that this smartphone will pop up on GFXBench soon enough, and we’ll be able to take a closer look at its specifications, as Geekbench really did not give us all that much info.
LeEco’s teaser did not say when will this smartphone launch, but based on the info thus far, you can expect it to land in the near future. The LeEco XiubalerR will probably be made out of metal, just like its predecessors, and there’s a good chance it will look similar to some of LeEco’s most recent smartphones. This smartphone will probably ship with a fullHD (1920 x 1080) panel, though we still don’t know how large will its display be, we’ll have to wait until more info surfaces, no matter if we get that info via a benchmark listing, or if LeEco unveils this handset before then. In addition to all that, you can expect the LeEco XiubaleR to offer two SIM card slots, which is always a useful feature to have.
