Leak: These are VRS Design's Galaxy S8 Cases

While the Samsung Galaxy S8 (and Galaxy S8 Plus) were both no-shows at Mobile World Congress this week, we do know that the company plans to unveil these devices at Unpacked later this month in New York City. And since their press conference this past Sunday, we’ve seen numerous leaks showing off the Galaxy S8, and now we’re seeing some new cases depicting what the Galaxy S8 may look like.

As you can see from the images below, these cases appear to show exactly what we’ve seen of the Galaxy S8 already. Which is a curved display with virtually no bezels, and that weird placement for the fingerprint sensor next to the camera is still there as well. Now it’s important to note that while case manufacturers like VRS Design do get some measurements on upcoming flagship devices like the Galaxy S8 from Samsung, they don’t actually get renders. So a lot of time these renders come from leaks and even older devices (there are some Galaxy S7 cases floating around on Amazon with the Galaxy S6 being shown off in the product images). So it’s important to take this all with a grain of salt.

VRS Design has four cases right now, that they have announced for the Galaxy S8. There’s the Damda Folder which will cost you $39.99, there’s also the Layered Dandy that is priced at $34.99, the Crystal Bumper priced at $29.99 and the SIMPLI MOD which is $34.99. In the gallery below, you’ll see the Crystal Bumper followed by SIMPLI MOD and the Damda Folder, the Layered Dandy is not pictured, but it should look the same as the others they have done. You’ll be able to order theres fairly soon from Amazon as well as VRS Design’s own website, and have them available for when the Galaxy S8 is made available at retailers and carriers – which is rumored to be around mid-April. Samsung’s Unpacked event takes place on March 29th, so we should learn loads more about these devices in just under four weeks. But so far, these seem to line up with all the other leaks we’ve seen thus far.
