Moto G5 Is Coming To India On April 4th With Android Nougat

Moto India has just announced that the Moto G5 will land in the country on April 4th. This smartphone was announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and the Moto G5 Plus was introduced alongside it. Well, the Moto G5 Plus has already been launched in India, the company launched it on March 15th, and its smaller sibling will follow soon. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see Motorola’s confirmation that the device is coming on April 4th, while the company shared an animated GIF image as well, which is placed down below.

Now, the Moto G5 is quite similar to the Moto G5 Plus, as it comes with water repellent nano-coating, and its fingerprint scanner is placed below the display. The Moto G5 has a removable battery, however, compared to the Moto G5 Plus which does not have such an ability. This phone also packs in two SIM card slots, in case you were wondering. The Moto G5 features a 5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The device ships with 2GB / 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 64-bit octa-core processor fuels the Moto G5, along with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. A 2,800mAh battery is included on the inside of this phone, and it comes with 10W rapid charging. A 13-megapixel shooter (PDAF) can be found on the back of this smartphone, and a 5-megapixel snapper (OmniVision OV5693) is placed on its front side. Android 7.0 Nougat comes pre-installed on the Moto G5, while the device measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5mm, and weighs 144.5 grams.

Now, the Moto G5 will be available in two color variants in India, Lunar Gray and Fine Gold colors. These are, actually, the only two color models that Motorola introduced during MWC. We still do not know how much will the phone cost, the company will release such info next Tuesday, though you can expect the Moto G5 to be quite affordable, of course.
