Moto XT1750 & XT1754 Get Certified By The Wi-Fi Alliance

Two new Moto-branded smartphones have received Wi-Fi certifications in the last 24 hours, the Moto XT1750 and Moto XT1754. That being said, we did not hear much about the XT1754 model thus far (it was certified by the FCC, though), but the Moto XT1750 did surface a while back. Now, the Moto XT1750 is rumored to be the Moto E (2017), though nothing has been confirmed just yet, so, what smartphone is the XT1754 supposed to represent? Well, this could be the Moto C that has been rumored a while back, though we did not hear much about that smartphone up to this point.

Now, according to the Wi-Fi Alliance, the Moto XT1750 is fueled by the MediaTek MT6580 octa-core processor, while the XT1754 model comes with MediaTek’s MT6737M quad-core SoC. According to the source, both of these smartphones will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat, which was to be expected. Interesting enough, both phones are expected to ship with a 2,350mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage it seems. That being said, if a recent rumor is to be believed, the Moto E (2017) is expected to sport a 5-inch 854 x 480 LCD display, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB / 16GB of internal storage. A 5-megapixel shooter will be placed on the back of this phone, and a 2-megapixel snapper will be included on the device’s front side. The Moto E (2017) will offer support for 4G LTE connectivity, and you will also get some of Motorola’s apps on top of Android 7.0 Nougat here.

So, what about the Moto C? Well, we really don’t have much info to go on here, aside from the fact this will be a budget smartphone, probably an entry-level handset. The Moto C will probably sport 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 8GB / 16GB of native storage. The device might be slightly more powerful than the Moto E (2017), though we’ll see what happens. Considering that both of these devices got certified, it is quite possible that they’ll be announced in the near future, though we still don’t know when exactly, so stay tuned for more info, we’ll report back soon.
