Oukitel’s K series has been fairly popular in the past couple of years, largely because these smartphones come with huge batteries, and we do mean huge. The Oukitel K6000 Plus comes with a 6080mAh battery, that is about twice the size of most regular flagship smartphones these days, and it’s just a tad higher than the battery in the Oukitel K6000 Pro which we reviewed last year.
The Oukitel K6000 Plus also has a 5.5-inch full HD or 1080p display, powered by the MediaTek MT6750 processor along with 4GB of RAM. Now this is a pretty energy efficient chipset, so that means that you’ll be able to get some pretty great standby battery life out of the Oukitel K6000 Plus, which is always nice. Additionally, there is 64GB of storage included, definitely enough for some games and such. The Oukitel K6000 Plus has a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing shooter. Additionally, it is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be available in three colors.
Oukitel has a great phone here, especially for those that are looking to pick up a phone with a beefy battery. When we reviewed the K6000 Pro last year, we got some incredible battery life numbers out of that phone, with over 12 hours of on-screen time. And given the pretty similar specs here – although they are a bit upgraded – yo can expect pretty much the same battery life out of the K6000 Plus. So those that use their smartphones heavily, or need their device to last a couple of days in between charges, this is definitely a great one to check out. Don’t forget that the K6000 Plus will take quite a while to charge, since it does have that massive 6080mAh battery inside. We got the chance to go hands on with the Oukitel K6000 Plus at Mobile World Congress this past week in Barcelona, and it definitely did not disappoint.
