The LeEco Le X850 is now expected to be unveiled and/or made available to buy on April 11, according to a tipster who provided the information via a social media post on Weibo. In addition to the launch date, the same tipster revealed that the LeEco Le X850 will be available in four color options, consisting of black, gold, gray, and white. At the moment, it is not clear if the April 11 date is specifically just for China, although that does seem likely to be the case, due to the lack of details that have come through on this particular smartphone over the last few months. It is worth noting that a leaked image did surface yesterday of a new and unnamed ‘LeEco flagship‘ which could be this smartphone. Although, it just as easily could be a LeEco Le Pro4, or anything else for that matter.
While the last few months have been quiet on the LeEco Le X850, this is a smartphone that had made its way through TENAA during the closing months of 2016. As a result, a number of the specs are already widely known. For instance, the LeEco Le X850 was listed back in November as coming equipped with a 5.7-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. Inside, the LeEco Le X850 is expected to come loaded with 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, and a 3,900 mAh battery. In terms of cameras, the LeEco Le X850 will come packing a dual rear camera setup which is spearheaded by two 13-megapixel cameras, along with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
Interestingly, the TENAA information suggested that the LeEco Le X850 will be available in coffee gray and gold charm colors. Which means if the current information is correct, the color variance can now be extended to include the black and white color options as well. Likewise, while this latest information does not bring with it much in the way of technical information, it does seem to be indicating that there will be more than one variant available. For instance, while the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model was spotted passing through TENAA, the latest information suggests a 6GB RAM model will also be available. As well as additional storage models, such as 32GB and 128GB options.
