T-Mobile Giving Customers A Free Year Of MLB.TV Premium

T-Mobile has already experienced a good degree of success with their T-Mobile Tuesdays giveaway offering, and now they’re set to up the ante with a year of free MLB.TV premium tier streaming for all customers, alongside other prizes. On Tuesday, April 4, all T-Mobile customers who pop open the T-Mobile Tuesdays app can claim their free year of premium streaming on MLB.TV, and will also have the chance to win a $50 or $100 gift card toward baseball gear, or even an all expense paid trip out to Miami, Florida for the MLB All-Star Week. Streaming won’t be zero-rated for those who are still on tiered plans with the Un-Carrier, but grandfathered unlimited and T-Mobile ONE customers can enjoy unlimited MLB.TV premium streaming on their phone.

Customers who fire up the app on Tuesday will have to claim the subscription immediately, and then will have until April 11 to sign up for MLB.TV Premium, where they will use their gift from T-Mobile to get their free year. After that, customers only have to download the MLB.com At Bat app, and they’ll be able to stream away. Along with the prizes listed above, T-Mobile customers taking advantage of T-Mobile Tuesdays will get a standard suite of goodies that includes a $2 gift card for Dunkin’ Donuts, a free baseball movie rental from VUDU, and a Groupon Local code good for 30% off just about anything in the service’s purview, up to $40 off the total amount due.

T-Mobile Tuesdays has a short, but storied history of giving away fairly lavish prizes, but this is among the biggest the company has offered customer-wide, rather than limiting the major love to one or a few lucky winners. Small online shopping sprees, free pizza and the like have graced all T-Mobile customers in the past, with the limit for prizes that all customers could get their hands on usually sitting around $40 or so in value at the absolute most. This time around, the subscription on offer to all T-Mobile customers is worth a cool $112.99, though customers who aren’t terribly into baseball might find the value on offer with this one not quite to their liking.
