Yet another Galaxy S8 render just surfaced, and this time around we get to see the model that will be sold in the US. The Samsung Galaxy S8 leaks have been incredibly persistent in the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen tons of various Galaxy S8 leaks, and the phone that you can check out in an image above this article is more or less identical to every other Galaxy S8 leak we’ve stumbled upon lately. The Galaxy S8 models will not differ from market to market, at least not as far as their design is concerned.
This image is rather crisp, you can see plenty of detail here. The phone’s power / lock key is clearly visible on the right side of its body, and the volume up, volume down and ‘Bixby’ buttons are placed on the left-hand side of the Galaxy S8. The phone’s display is clearly curved, and bezels are extremely thin. The phone will sport a fingerprint scanner on the back, next to which you’ll notice a rear-facing camera, an LED flash and a heart rate sensor. The company’s branding is placed on the back of the phone, and so is the ‘Galaxy S8’ branding. Corners of the display are curved on the Galaxy S8, and the device comes with on-screen buttons, even though they’re not visible in this particular image. Samsung has decided to ditch the physical home key this time around, which is why the company was able to offer us such thin bezels, presuming that leaks are accurate, of course.
The Galaxy S8 will be announced next Wednesday, on March 29, and next to it Samsung will probably announce the Galaxy S8 Plus as well. The two devices are identical in every way except when it comes to size, the Galaxy S8 Plus is larger, and it will sport a larger display and a larger battery as a result of that. The Galaxy S8 will be made out of metal and glass, while it will be fueled by either the Snapdragon 835 SoC, or the Exynos 8895 processor. The US variant that you can check out above this article will almost certainly ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the Galaxy S8, and on top of it, you’ll get Samsung very own user interface. The Galaxy S8 announcement is only 6 days away at this point, so stay tuned.
