Yet another Galaxy S8 leak has just surfaced, and this time around we get to see the Galaxy S8 Plus model in the flesh, along with its retail packaging. Now, two images of the phone itself surfaced, along with two sides of its retail box, and this seems to be a Verizon-bound model. The design of this smartphone does not differ from a ton of other leaks that surfaced in the last couple of weeks, so you probably already know what to expect.
In the gallery down below, you can take a look at the Galaxy S8 Plus, its display and on-screen buttons, as the display is not turned off in this case. The device’s display is curved, and the phone’s bezels are quite thin all around, while the physical home button is not a part of this package. If you take a look at the back of this retail box, you’ll notice that the Micro USB connector is mentioned, and if it’s referring to the phone’s USB port, well, then this leak is quite fishy, but chances are that you’ll get some sort of a Micro USB adapter in the box, considering that the device is set to ship with a Type-C USB port. The Galaxy S8 Plus will sport a 6.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, along with 4GB of RAM and a 3,500mAh battery. The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and the phone is expected to sport a 12-megapixel camera on the back.
The Galaxy S8 Plus will be identical to the Galaxy S8 in terms of the design, and specs, but will be somewhat bigger than its sibling. On the back of the phone, you’ll get a fingerprint scanner, while the phone’s heart rate sensor and an LED flash will also be available there. This handset will ship with Android Nougat, and Samsung’s custom UI on top of it, while you’ll also get the company’s dedicated physical Bixby AI key on the left. The Galaxy S8 will launch on March 29 in New York and London, and chances are that the Galaxy S8 Plus will land on that very same day, next to its sibling.
