Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are scheduled to be announced next week Wednesday, March 29th, and although none of the details that have been leaked have been confirmed by Samsung, other than the presence of Bixby and a quick breakdown of what it is, most of the rumors match up, including the colors, which suggests that most of them are right on target. That being said, it seems all of the rumored colors (so far at least) have been leaked and this gives consumers a pretty good idea of what the phones will like in each color variant.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will come in Black Sky, Coral Blue (which just leaked today for the first time), Orchid Grey, Gold, Arctic Silver, and a rumored Purple color. Of these six colors there is no guarantee that each one will launch for both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus models, nor that each color will reach every single region where Samsung plans to launch the two smartphones.
Whether or not each color makes it to each launch region, though, all of the colors are still visually appealing and it showcases that Samsung is trying to cater to a wide group of people. Having a multitude of color options means that each person can choose the one that best fits their style and taste, and launching all colors globally wouldn’t be such a bad idea as it would simply mean more consumer choice, which is a good thing. Though most of the color doesn’t show on the front due to the minimal bezels for the screen, the back seems to display the colors quite nicely judging by the amount of leaked images, so it will still be easy to distinguish which color is which. While the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are to be announce in the middle of next week, they aren’t expected to launch until the following month as rumors suggest that the phones will launch around April 18th in South Korea, while launching the following week in the U.S. and Canada. In regards to the colors, which one do you like the best?
