The Xiaomi Mi 6 leaks are extremely persistent, we’ve seen a ton of them in the last couple of weeks, and yet another one just surfaced, as the Xiaomi Mi 6 got listed on Oppomart. As most of you probably already know, Oppomart is a reseller of Chinese smartphones, and the Xiaomi Mi 6 popped up on their site, though do keep in mind it’s possible this info is based on rumors and leaks, and not actual official info Oppomart was provided with. That being sad, let’s see what the phone has to offer, shall we.
According to Oppomart, the Xiaomi Mi 6 sports a 5.15-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, along with 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of native storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and comes with Android OS with the company’s custom MIUI 8 OS on top of it. A 3,200mAh non-removable battery is also a part of the package, and the device sports a 19-megapixel shooter (Sony’s IMX400 sensor) on the back. This main camera sensor was used in Sony’s Xperia XZ Premium flagship, and also the Xperia XZs, two devices which were announced last month by the company. An 8-megapixel shooter will be placed on the front side of the device, according to Oppomart, and two SIM card slots will be included in this package as well. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will offer support for both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE, we’re looking at an unlocked handset here, just in case you were wondering.
Oppomart’s listing also mentions that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will ship with some sort of fast charging technology, and we’re probably looking at Qualcomm’s Quick Charge tech here, Quick Charge 4.0, to be more exact. Oppomart also shared a render of the Xiaomi Mi 6, but this is not an actual image of the phone, but one of the leaked renders, they usually do that before a smartphone gets announced, and then change it afterwards. Oppomart also placed a $299 price tag on the Xiaomi Mi 6, which is probably also a placeholder, nothing more than that. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to land on April 11th, so stay tuned for that, we’ll report back as soon as we get more info, as per usual.
