It seems like the Midnight Black OnePlus 3T is in high demand all over the globe, the phone is now sold out everywhere except in the UK and Hong Kong. This information comes from Carl Pei, OnePlus’ CEO, and he also mentions that the phone will be sold out in the UK and Hong Kong in the next couple of days as well. He shared this info via Twitter, so if you’re living in the UK or Hong Kong and have been thinking of getting the Midnight Black OnePlus 3T, you might want to hurry up, as the phone will be out of stock soon.
The Midnight Black OnePlus 3T became available for purchase about a month ago, and it’s identical to the regular OnePlus 3T, except it comes with a different paint job, as its name says, and it also packs in 128GB of internal storage. The Gunmetal and Soft Gold OnePlus 3T variants are still available, and will continue being available, though, well, at least their 64GB variants are, the 128GB Gunmetal model is out of stock as well at the moment. The OnePlus 3T was originally announced back in November last year, and the phone has been selling really well for the company it seems. The OnePlus 3T is essentially a more powerful variant of the OnePlus 3 which was announced in the middle of last year. This phone is identical to its sibling in terms of dimensions, but it comes with a more powerful SoC, better front-facing camera, larger battery and a sapphire lens for its main shooter.
The OnePlus 3T is made out of metal, and it sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) Optic AMOLED display. The device packs in 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of non-expandable internal storage. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 64-bit quad-core chip fuel this phone, and a 3,400mAh non-removable battery is also included in this package. A 16-megapixel OIS shooter is placed on the back of the phone, and a 16-megapixel camera can also be found on the front side of the OnePlus 3T. Android Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the phone, but you’ll be able to update it to Android 7.1.1 Nougat as soon as you fire up the phone and connect to the internet.
