My Social App Hits Michael Kors Access Bradshaw & Dylan

Starting today, owners of last year’s fashionable Michael Kors’ Access Bradshaw and Access Dylan will be able to download the My Social app,  a brand new customization feature introduced by the luxury fashion company last month with the launch of its latest pair of smartwatches.

My Social easily pulls a user’s favorite images from their Instagram feed and transforms them into watchfaces. To get started, users will have to sign into the app with their Instagram profile, pick a personal favorite moment, apply a filter, and wait for their image to be converted into a watchface. When it comes to customization, the owners of Michael Kors’ Access Bradshaw and Access Dylan also have the option of tapping into the databases of third-party apps such Facer that boast massive portfolios featuring thousands of watchfaces. Nevertheless, the new My Social app makes it easier for Michael Kors watch owners to use a highly personal watchface instead. Michael Kors debuted the feature last month during Baselworld 2017, bundling it on its first couple of Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches, the Access Grayson and Access Sofie, and now owners of last year’s models will be able to take advantage of the new app as well. The feature will arrive via an OTA (over-the-air) update, but those who want to try to speed things along can go ahead and attempt to manually download the functionality by launching the Settings app on their watch and tapping the “System Updates” option.

Michael Kors’ Access Bradshaw and Access Dylan were upgraded to Android Wear 2.0 only a few weeks ago after Google resumed the rollout of the new version of its wearable OS following a brief bug-induced halt. Introduced back in September 2016, the two Michael Kors Access smartwatches come boasting a circular display with 320 x 290 resolution and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 2100 processor backed by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage. Michael Kors focused on the design factor more than anything else when building these watches, so the pair does not come equipped with any advanced fitness functionalities due to its lack of a heart rate sensor. Both products rely on a 360mAh battery and are offered in different colors along with a selection of various straps.  While the Google Store removed the two models from its virtual shelves, the two products are still available from the luxury retailer’s official website.
