This Nokia 9 Concept Sports Thin Bezels And Looks Realistic

The Nokia 9 sketches leaked earlier today, and as we’re waiting for the company to release some official info when it comes to that smartphone, a Nokia 9 concept surfaced online. Do keep in mind that this is not a leak or anything of the sort, just the designer’s imagination, though it would be great if this would be the real thing, as it looks really, really nice. This phone has two front-facing speakers, and comes with a 5.5-inch display with a 2:1 aspect ratio.

Now, this imaginatory smartphone is only 6.2mm thick, and it’s actually as big as the iPhone 7 thanks to its slim bezels, despite the fact it has a 0.8-inch larger display. If you peek inside of a gallery down below, you’ll get to see six images that are showing off the latest Nokia 9 concept. As you can see, the phone’s display is slightly curved on the sides, and the device has very thin bezels above and below the display. There are two camera snappers included on the back of this phone, and an LED flash is placed below them. Nokia’s branding can be found on the back of this phone as well, and the device comes with on-screen keys. All in all, this device looks like a combination between the LG G6 and the Galaxy S8, though it does not come with a glass back. This design even looks realistic, and it’ll be interesting to see what will the actual Nokia 9 handset look like.

That being said, the Nokia 9 probably won’t land before Q3 this year, at least according to a recent rumor. The device is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year, allegedly, as Nokia did not release any official info thus far. The Nokia 9 will, allegedly ship with the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 5.5-inch display. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on this smartphone, and you can expect to see a rather clean build of Android on this phone, as Nokia said a couple of times thus far that they’re not planning to create their very own ecosystem based on Android, so we won’t be getting heavy skins on top of Android or anything of the sort.
