Sprint has today announced that it is looking to make its Unlimited Freedom plan even more attractive to multiple member accounts by added a fifth line to the proceedings for free. In other words, Sprint is now offering five lines for the same cost that it was charging for four lines. A saving which Sprint equates to $20 per month, or $240 per year.
Sprint explains that the five line plan will now break down as follows. The first line will cost $50 per month for unlimited data, talk and text. If opting for a plan that includes two lines then the price drops down to $40 per month, per line. Resulting in an overall cost of $80. A plan with three lines ups the total cost to $100 per month, while a plan with fours lines see the cost of each line dropping down to $30 – bringing the overall total down to $120 per month for all four lines. While as noted, a plan now including five lines will see the fifth line being added for free, resulting in the total for all five coming in at $120.
This is, of course, a limited time promotion, so those looking to get in on the action will want to do so sooner rather than later. This is also a promotion that does not represent a permanent change. So following the actual promotional period, the price of each line will rise to what Sprint charges normally for such a plan setup. According to Sprint, the prices will be locked down until June 30, 2018, so it is good for a little over a year. As is the case with Sprint’s Unlimited Freedom plan in general, in addition to unlimited talk, text, and data, lines on this plan will be limited to streaming video at 1080p, music up to 1.5 mbps, and gaming up to 8 mbps. With “unlimited high speed data for most everything else.” It also worth noting that the prices mentioned are relative to plans that make use of AutoPay.
