The Xiaomi Mi 6 was introduced about a week ago in China, and it seems like its larger sibling is coming as well, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus case has just leaked. An industry analyst suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will launch a couple of months after the Xiaomi Mi 6, and if this leaked case is to be believed, the phone is coming. Now, we’re looking at a regular, clear silicone case here which comes with reinforced corners in order to protect the phone from drops. In the upper left corner, you will notice three cutouts, two of them are there for rear-facing camera sensors, and the smallest one is there for the dual-LED flash. So, it seems like the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will have a similar setup as its sibling, though truth be told, Xiaomi Mi 6’s LED flash is placed in the upper left corner, not next to the right rear-facing camera.
Now, if rumors are to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will be almost identical to the Xiaomi Mi 6 is every way, well, except for the fact it will be a larger smartphone, of course. The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will be made out of metal and glass, and instead of a 5.15-inch display which is used on the Xiaomi Mi 6, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus will sport a 5.7-inch fullHD or QHD panel. This smartphone will pack in 6GB of RAM, allegedly, and will ship in 64GB and 128GB storage variants, just like the Xiaomi Mi 6. Two 12-megapixel shooters will be placed on the back of this phablet, and a single 8-megapixel unit will be available on the phone’s front side. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, and the phone will probably pack in at least a 3,700mAh battery on the inside, though nothing has been confirmed just yet. Android Nougat will come pre-installed on the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, and on top of it, you’ll get Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS.
That is more or less all the info that we have on the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus, and it is all based on rumors and leaks. Chances are that the size will be the only difference between the two phones, though we’ll need to wait for Xiaomi to release some official info before we can be sure of that.
