ZTE had introduced the ZTE Axon 7s earlier this month, but the company did not exactly release all that much spec info for the phone, well, the phone’s spec sheet just surfaced, read on. The ZTE Axon 7s is ZTE’s all-new flagship smartphone, and a new iteration of the ZTE Axon 7 which was announced last year. The ZTE Axon 7s is fueled by the Snapdragon 820, while its successor comes with the Snapdragon 821. That’s not the only difference however, the ZTE Axon 7s comes with a dual camera setup on the back, while it also packs in 6GB of RAM, unlike the ZTE Axon 7.
The ZTE Axon 7s also comes with an internal storage bump, the phone packs in 128GB of native storage, while its predecessor shipped with half as much storage. This handset packs in a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, offers support for Google Daydream, and you can also expand its internal storage, if that’s something you want to do. The ZTE Axon 7s is made out of metal, as you can see in the provided images, and it features a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, while its SIM tray is placed on the left side of the device. A 3.5mm headphone jack is placed on the very top of this phone, and all of its physical keys are located on the right. The device comes with a 20-megapixel (Sony’s IMX350 sensor, 1,25um pixel size, f/1.8 aperture)) and 12-megapixel rear-facing cameras (Sony’s IMX368 sensor, 1um pixel size, f/1.8 aperture). The ZTE Axon 7s can shoot 4K video, and features an 8-megapixel shooter up front.
A 3,400mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable, unfortunately. You do get Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging tech here, however, so you can top up that 3,400mAh unit in no time. Now, the ZTE Axon 7s is still not available for purchase, though it is expected to become available soon. ZTE did not release pricing info for the Axon 7s either, but if rumors are to be believed, the phone will cost around 4,099 Yuan ($595) once it becomes available, at least in China.
