Honor has just announced that their latest mid-range smartphone, the Honor 6X, is now available in about 460 Target stores across the US. This increases Huawei and Honor’s retail presence in the US, and gives customers more options of where to buy the Honor 6X. The Honor 6X is being sold at the same price as it is elsewhere, which is $249 for an unlocked smartphone. That’s not a bad price for what you’re getting out of the Honor 6X here.
The Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, powered by the Kirin 655 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Honor does have a micro SD card slot in the Honor 6X, which can support up to 256GB micro SD cards. Allowing you to really expand the storage of your device. There’s also a dual-camera setup on the back, these are dual 12-megapixel cameras, and there is a 3340mAh battery inside which is not removable, but it should keep the Honor 6X going all day long and then some. It’s available in gray, gold and silver. Additionally, it does support both T-Mobile and AT&T in the US, it’s a GSM only smartphone so those on Verizon and Sprint are out of luck, unfortunately.
This is a great option for someone looking for a new smartphone, but they don’t want to spend a lot on a new one. This brings you pretty decent specs, with plenty of storage and a bit battery, for a fraction of the price of most new flagship devices. The Honor 6X was announced back at CES 2017 in January, and it’s been a pretty popular device ever since then. The Honor 6X has won various awards, and despite launching on Android Marshmallow, it has received an update to Android Nougat, so it is now running the latest version of Android, as well as the latest version of EMUI – which is Huawei and Honor’s own skin that goes over the top of Android.
