Leaked Moto E4 Plus Spec Sheet Shows 5000mAh Battery

Moto’s latest entry in the budget Moto E family, the Moto E4 Plus, has been leaked onto the web, this time in spec sheet form. The model number here is MOTO XT 1770, and the processor is the MediaTek MT6737, which means that this phone is one of the ones that was seen passing through the Wi-Fi Alliance for certification recently. The device in question this time around sports a 5.5-inch display underneath a piece of curved 2.5D glass, with the resolution not listed here. On the memory front, there’s 3GB of RAM, alongside 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a MicroSD card by up to 128GB.

The battery is a powerful 5,000mAh unit, which should pair nicely with the MediaTek processor to deliver great battery life. That battery is also removable, so you can always bring along a spare, or replace an ailing battery without issues. The front camera is a 5-megapixel affair, while the rear imaging setup relies on a 13-megapixel sensor. The phone is 144mm long, 72.3mm wide, and 10mm thick to accommodate that battery. While that’s not too thick, the difference between this thickness and some of the thinnest phones out there like the Moto Z is still significant. While the newly leaked spec sheet doesn’t list the screen resolution of the device, it’s safe to assume the phone will ship with a 720 x 1,280 display panel since that’s what’s reportedly on the non-Plus Moto E4 variant, though an upgrade to 1,920 by 1,080 pixels is entirely feasible.

The Moto E4 Plus that’s being leaked here is just one of seven new MediaTek MT6737-based Moto phones on the horizon, and comes from a long line of Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series devices. While the handset hasn’t been seen in enough detail for this to be certain, the word is that newer Moto phones, this one included, will be running Lenovo’s ZUK ZUI, as seen most recently on the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro. If the rumors are true, this stark departure from stock Android could give the phones an edge in markets like China and India that are familiar with ZUI and tend to enjoy value-added features.
