Nokia 9 Geekbench results seem to suggest 8GB of RAM will be included in the device as a different variant offered by HMD Global. Along with the amount of memory shown in the benchmark results, the device labeled as “Unknown Heart” also shows that it’s running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and that it comes with an octa-core processor with a 1.90GHz clock frequency, thought to be the Snapdragon 835 processor. The only other real details that can be seen are the single and multi-core scores for the benchmark, which interestingly enough appear lower than those for previous Nokia 9 Geekbench listings which showed the device with 4GB of RAM instead of 8GB.
Today’s listing shows the device with a single-core score of 769, and a multi-core score of 1630, with 8GB of RAM. Previous listings for what seems like the same exact device from back on May 20th (though the results were uploaded to Geekbench on May 6th according to the listing) show the device with 4GB of RAM and a single-core score of 1815 and a multi-core score of 6278.
What the difference in scores means is unclear especially when this latest set of results is with a device that looks to have double the amount of memory, but as Nokia and HMD Global get closer to announcing the device officially more details should spill over as to what the actual hardware is that the device is running with and what the specifications are. This Geekbench listing is just one of the most recent pieces of information surrounding the Nokia 9 to pop up. Just a few days ago a leaked set of images surfaced that appeared to be showing the Nokia 9 as a prototype model, though it was enclosed in a case of some sort that is likely meant to hide the phone’s actual design. In those images though you can see the phone has dual rear-facing cameras which is one of the features the phone is rumored to have, and which was shown off in a different leak earlier in the month in what looked like a promotional video for some of Nokia’s phones, one of which seemed to be the Nokia 9.
