Yet another OnePlus 5 leak has just surfaced online, and it’s coming from Weibo (Chinese social network), just like many before it. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll be able to see the alleged OnePlus 5 renders, and this time around we get to see the device from both its front and back sides, and in addition to that, the right and bottom portions are displayed as well, though we do not get to see the very top of the phone, or its left side, read on.
As you can see this seems to be a ‘Midnight Black’ variant of the OnePlus 5, and the device sports a fingerprint scanner below the display, just like its predecessor did. This phone, however, seems to have a significantly smaller footprint than the OnePlus 3(T), at least it seems like it when you look at both pictures at the same time, as the home key is considerably closer to the sides of this device. The company’s logo is placed on the back of this phone, and the device sports a dual camera setup, which comes in horizontal alignment. The device sports a power / home key on the right, while you will notice volume up and volume down buttons on the left, and the phone’s alert switch is also available on the left. Antenna bands are clearly visible here, and the phone seems to be symmetrical, equally curved on the front and on the back, just like the Galaxy S8.
That being said, this is just one of many OnePlus 5 leaks we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks, and we’ll have to wait until the company announces this device in order to find out what whether this leak is accurate or not. The OnePlus 5 will land this summer, OnePlus confirmed that quite recently, and chances are we’ll see it announced next month, as the OnePlus 3 landed in June 2016. The OnePlus 5 will probably sport a 5.5-inch fullHD or QHD AMOLED panel, along with 6GB / 8GB of RAM and will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the device, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find the company’s OxygenOS skin.
