Press Renders For International Galaxy J3 (2017) Leaked

The press renders of the international version of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) have been leaked, which is quite similar in construction and design when compared with the previously leaked Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017). Based on the press renders, the biggest changes in the design of Samsung’s very popular low-end offering are found at the back of the handset. The device will still likely have a single-camera setup at the back but it looks like it will now be arranged vertically with the rear flash. Another striking difference is the construction of the rear panel, as the back part of the device will have a big center plate and two big cut-outs at the top and bottom of the rear part of the device. It is possible that the bottom panel may be made out of metal and the cut-outs, which might be made out of plastic, are needed for radio signals to pass through.

It is also possible that the device may have non-removable battery since there seems to be two separate slots for the microSD and SIM cards below the volume buttons. While a US version of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) has been released, consumers in many markets around the world are still waiting for the device to be launched in their respective countries. Previous leaks have detailed the internal specifications of the handset. To recap, it is likely that the international versions of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) will be powered by an Exynos 7570. This chipset has a quad-core ARM Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.4 GHz and a Mali T-720 GPU. The device is expected to have a 720p display, and a 2600mAh battery.

Despite the relatively small battery, the low resolution of the display should help extend the battery life of the device. The handset is expected to have 16GB of internal flash storage and 1.5GB of RAM. Users may also augment the internal storage using a microSD card. For the imaging needs of smartphone users, the device will have a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The international release of the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2017) may happen soon, especially since the US version of the device is already available from retailers like AT&T. While there is no confirmation on the price, it is likely that the international market will see a similarly low-cost price tag.
