Unboxing Images Surface For Lenovo's Moto Z2 Play

Unboxing images have surfaced for Lenovo’s Moto Z2 Play. The images show the packing in complete detail before and after being opened by the person in possession of the upcoming phone, and some of the main specifications can be seen listed on the protective screen film that you peel off. While not all of the specs are listed, it is made clear that the Moto Z2 Play will come with a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, though it will also have just one sensor just as all of the most recent leaks have been suggesting, so that shouldn’t be a surprise.

In addition to the 12-megapixel main camera, which looks to come with laser autofocus, the Moto Z2 Play will also have a fingerprint sensor that’s embedded in the front of the device that doubles as a home button, and it’s also powered by 3,000mAh battery that supports the Moto Turbo power charging, a detail which is also made apparent by the label of the technology on the charger itself which you can see in one of the images in the gallery below. The Moto Z2 Play will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display as well as 64GB of storage space and 4GB of RAM, and it will support expandable storage via a microSD card. The phone will also have support for the Moto Mods of course, which is clear from the connectors on the back of the phone, although they’re referred to as Moto Snaps here on the screen film, which is likely due to the fact that the phone itself is from the Brazilian market.

Inside the box the phone comes with the charger and the charging cable, and what seems to be earbuds. This particular model of the device is the grey model which comes with the black front panel, though it will be offered in a white and gold model, as well as a white and silver model according to a leak for the Moto Z2 Play from earlier this afternoon. There’s still no word on a launch date or a price for the Moto Z2 Play since the device hasn’t been officially announced, but it’s likely to be soon given that the phone looks to have already made it into the hands of a consumer.
