The OPPO R11 got announced yesterday, and its larger sibling, the OPPO R11 Plus, just got certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC). Both the OPPO R11 and the OPPO R11 Plus already popped up on TENAA last month, and the company listed the OPPO R11 on its website yesterday, even though the phone will officially land on June 10. That being said, the OPPO R11 Plus has just surfaced on TENAA yet again, and this time around the listing actually confirms this is the OPPO R11 Plus we’re looking at.
The OPPO R11 Plus looks basically identical to the OPPO R11, though its display is larger, and same can be said for its battery as well. In addition to that, the OPPO R11 Plus packs in more RAM, and the phone’s footprint is also bigger, of course. The OPPO R11 Plus will sport a 6-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, if TENAA is to be believed, while the phone packs in 6GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). The phone will be fueled by an octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz, which probably means it will ship with the same SoC that is included in the OPPO R11, the Snapdragon 660. A 3,880mAh battery is also included in this package, and it is not removable, and the device will come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color variants, TENAA reports. 20-megapixel and 16-megapixel snappers will be included on the back of the OPPO R11 Plus, while a single 20-megapixel camera will be available on the phone’s front side. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the OPPO R11 Plus, and on top of it you’ll get OPPO’s Color OS skin.
This handset will offers support for 4G LTE connectivity, and it will measure 165.8 x 81.5 x 7.8mm, while it will weigh 188 grams. The phone’s volume up and volume down keys will be placed on the left, while its power / lock key will be located on the right. A 3.5mm headphone jack will also be included in this package, and it is visible in one of the images down below, it’s placed on the very bottom of this smartphone.
