A new smartphone boasting the ZTE BV0870 model number has now shown up on TENAA. As is usually the case with TENAA listings, a number of the specs are being listed, as well as a number of images of the smartphone, which when taking together do provide a good overview of how the smartphone looks.
As for the specs, the ZTE BV0870 is listed to come equipped with a 5.5-inch display along with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the ZTE BV0870 will seemingly be available in multiple variants, including 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM models. Likewise, the storage will also vary with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models all listed. The assumption being that each of the storage amounts listed are directly relevant to a corresponding RAM amount. Although it also seems to be the case that expandable storage will be on offer, with the device coming equipped with a microSD card slot and offering support up to 128GB. A 1.4 GHz processor is powering the device, while a 3,000 mAh capacity battery is expected to keep it going. As for cameras, a 16-megapixel camera is listed for the rear-facing main camera, while an 8-megapixel camera is listed for the front-facing option. This is a smartphone that comes running on Android 7.0 (Nougat) and as the images above and below seem to indicate, will come equipped with a rear-positioned fingerprint sensor. The only other notable aspect is that the ZTE BV0870 is listed to become available in a variety of color choices, consisting of black, gold, grey, and silver.
As for what model this is, that is not entirely clear here. The model number (and the specs) does indeed suggest this is a very similar phone to the ZTE BV0800 which was spotted getting benchmarked in November 2016. Although, that phone has also passed through the FCC, with a similar, but different design. So while it does seem to be from the same family, it also does clearly seem to be a different model. Most notably in the display size, as the ZTE BV0800 was listed with a 5.2-inch display, compared to the 5.5-inch display listed for this BV0870 model.
