EE Opens Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL Pre-Orders In The UK

Following the announcement of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, EE has announced that it will be an exclusive UK network partner for these two smartphones, and also the Daydream VR. Google had introduced these two smartphones earlier today, along with some other devices at the company’s press conference. Having said that, EE has announced that UK consumers are already available to pre-order the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL from the company. You can get one of the two phones across EE shops, tele-sales and online at ee.co.uk/pixel2.

Those of you who are not looking to pre-order any of these devices, but will rather wait for them to go on sale, will be glad to hear that the Pixel 2 will become available for purchase, through EE, on October 19, while you will be able to purchase the Pixel 2 XL starting on November 15. You will be able to utilize Wi-Fi Calling, 4G Calling and use EE’s Cat. 12-enabled 4G network with either of the two Pixel 2 smartphones. EE has announced that both 64GB and 128GB storage variants of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available for pre-order, you can choose between three color variants of the Google Pixel 2, and there are two color options for the Pixel 2 XL, which means that pretty much all the color variants are available from EE. Both phones are available to pre-order on a range of 4GEE price plans, of course. For example, you can get the Pixel 2 for £9.99 outright, on a £47.99 per month plan, this will require you to sign a 24-month contract, and we’re talking about the 4GEE Max plan here, which comes with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 8GB of data. The Pixel 2 XL can be purchased on that very same plan, though you’ll need to pay £57.99 per month. If you decide to get the Pixel 2 between October 4 and November 2, you will also get a free Google Home Mini smart speaker, and the same applies for the Pixel 2 XL if you get it between October 4 and November 14.

The Google Home Mini and Daydream VR headset are also being offered by EE, and you can find more info regarding that on the company’s official website. It’s also worth noting that you’ll be getting a number of goodies if you sign a contract with EE and buy one of the two Pixel 2 phones, Free BT Sport subscription for three months and data caps are only some of the benefits. Having said that, the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are made out of metal, and they’re both fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, both of these phones sport 4GB of RAM, and they come with Android 8.0.0 Oreo out of the box.
