Honor Handsets Get Certified, Are These Honor V10 Variants?

Three Honor-branded phones got certified in China quite recently, the BKL-AL00, NI-ALOO and BKL-AL20. Now, these are, allegedly, three different models of the upcoming Honor V10 smartphone, though we’re only guessing at this point, as not even the brand name is mentioned in this listing. Speaking of which, this is a 3C certification (Chinese Communications Commission) in China, and unfortunately, it did not share any other specifics about the upcoming device, presuming this is the Honor V10 we’re talking about.

In any case, Honor had scheduled an event for December 5 in London, and many sources are predicting that the company plans to introduce the Honor V10 during that event, which is rather odd considering that the Honor V9 did not even become a reality, Honor actually opted to call is the Honor 8 Pro, which is actually a European variant of the Huawei V9 which was announced in China. It is possible that Huawei will change the naming structure of that lineup this year, though, of course, and the company could opt to call it the Honor V10, we’ll just have to wait and see what will happen. Now, as per Honor’s teaser, the device will sport rather thin bezels, and it will almost certainly be fueled by the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, which is Huawei’s flagship mobile chip which is currently fueling the company’s Mate 10 flagship series of smartphone, which was announced quite recently, actually.

Now, in addition to that, the Honor V10 is rumored to sport a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. Android 8.0 Oreo will come out of the box, and on top of it, you’ll get Huawei’s custom skin, Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0. The device will almost certainly sport a dual camera setup on the back, though chances are you will not get Leica’s lenses here, but the camera setup will probably be the same as on the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10 handsets, save for Leica’s lenses, of course. The phone’s starting price is rumored to be 2,799 Yuan ($422), though take that info with a grain of salt, of course.
