A new Honor-branded smartphone has been certified by TENAA, though do keep in mind that this time around, we’re not getting any specs when it comes to this phone, only images of the device itself. This listing was spotted by Slashleaks, and the device that you can see in the gallery down below actually resembles the Huawei BND-AL00 which was certified last month, aka the Honor 7X. The Honor 7X was announced quite recently, and it seems like Honor is planning to launch a rather similar phone soon, well, similar in terms of the design at the very least, read on.
Looking at the front side of the Huawei LLD-XXX, the phone that got certified by TENAA, many of you would probably be convinced that this is the Honor 7X, and that’s not exactly surprising considering that the two devices look basically identical from the front. Well, if you flip the phone around, you’ll notice some differences. The Honor 7X sports a dual camera setup on the back, just like this newly-surfaced phone, but the Honor 7X’s cameras are separated, while the cameras on this device are a part of the same module it seems, and that module sports a different color to the rest of the device. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see any specs for this smartphone, which is a shame, as its specifications would probably shed more light as to what phone is this. In any case, it seems like the device will sport a metal + glass build, or a metal unibody build, while all of its physical keys will be included on the right, and the SIM card tray is placed on the left side of this phone.
The company’s logo is placed below the device’s display, and also on the back side of this smartphone. The device’s loudspeaker is located at the bottom of this handset, and the same can be said for a Type-C USB port. All in all, this is probably a mid-range smartphone, though we’re only guessing at this point, but chances are it will ship with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM on the inside, while it comes with an HD+ or fullHD+ display. As far as its cameras are concerned, the secondary shooter on the back probably houses a monochrome lens, and the phone will probably ship with Android Nougat out of the box, though there’s a possibility that Android 8.0 Oreo may be included.
