Sharp FS8015 Pops Up On TENAA With 6GB Of RAM, Android Oreo

The Sharp FS8018 got certified about a week ago in China, and the same just happened to the Sharp FS8015. The Sharp FS8018 got certified with a rather odd screen resolution, probably because of the notch it will sport, which is similar to the one on the Essential PH-1. The Sharp FS8015, on the other hand, comes with a rather ‘normal’ resolution, as the phone will sport a fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, and in addition to that, its front-facing camera is placed in a more usual spot, in the top left portion of the phone’s front side.

The Sharp FS8015 comes with a dual camera setup on the back, we’re looking at vertically-aligned cameras which are placed in the top left portion of the phone’s back. A fingerprint scanner is located on the back of this smartphone as well, while an LED flash lies below the two cameras. Sharp’s branding is included on the back of this phone as well, and the device seems to be made out of metal and glass, though we cannot confirm that just yet. The phone’s dual camera setup will protrude on the back, while all of the phone’s physical keys are placed on the right. The Sharp FS8015 will sport a 5.99-inch fullHD+ panel, while the phone will come in two RAM variants, a more affordable model will sport 4GB of RAM, while the more expensive variant will come with 6GB of RAM. Android 8.0 Oreo will come out of the box on this smartphone, it seems, while the device will sport a 3,100mAh battery which will almost certainly not going to be removable.

12 and 13-megapixel snappers will be placed on the back of this phone, while a 16-megapixel shooter will be included on the phone’s front side. The phone’s internal storage will be expandable, and the two aforementioned RAM variants will include 64GB and 128GB of native storage, respectively. The Sharp FS8015 measures 148 x 74 x 7.98mm, while it weighs 167.4 grams. The device does offer 4G LTE connectivity, of course, and chances are it will get announced in China first. We still do not know when will this phone land, but chances are that Sharp will introduce it in the near future.
