Western Digital and Sandisk are, as many other companies, represented at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and we’ve actually managed to get some hands-on time with products from these two companies. You will be able to check out four devices from these two companies in their respective galleries down below, one from Western Digital, and three from SanDisk, read on.
The first gadget that we’ve played around with is the Western Digital My Passport Wireless SSD, which is a great solution if you’re looking for a portable, extremely fast storage. As you can see, this gadget looks rather interesting, it would be hard to guess this is a hard drive if we didn’t know beforehand. The device comes with several ports on the sides, and this color variant combines orange and dark gray colors. This gadget comes with a built-in SD card reader, and it offers a battery life of up to 10 hours (of use). The device comes in 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB options, in case you were wondering. The second device on the list is SanDisk’s USB flash drive, and this tiny flash drive comes with 1TB of memory, and a Type-C USB port, while a clip is also available here, so that you can attach it to your keys, for example. This is a prototype device, so keep that in mind, it’s not yet available and we do not know when will it become available either.
The third gadget comes from SanDisk as well, and it’s the SanDisk 400GB microSD card. This device is kind of self-explanatory, it’s essentially your regular microSD card, but it comes with 400GB of storage on board. The last device on the list is SanDisk’s extremely portable SSD, which is a size of a small phone, and it can be attached to your bag, pants, or wherever else as it has a clip in the top right corner. A Type-C USB port is available on this gadget, and we got a chance to check out a 2TB version of the device. That is more or less it, you can check out all of these devices in the gallery down below, just in case you’re interested.
