The OUKITEL K10 was announced by OUKITEL a while back, and the company has just released a new promo video for the device. This smartphone is expected to go on sale before the end of the month, and in the newly-published video, the company has decided to test its battery consumption. Before we begin, however, it’s worth noting that the OUKITEL K10 comes with a huge 11,000mAh non-removable battery.
OUKITEL has kicked off this battery test with a fully charged OUKITEL K10, and the phone’s volume and brightness have been turned up all the way. After an hour of watching Breaking Bad (TV series) on the device, the phone was left with 99 percent of the battery left. After four hours of watching TV shows, the OUKITEL K10 still had 86 percent battery left, and that’s a point where some devices would already die and you’d need to put them on a charger. Truth be told the OUKITEL K10 has a much larger battery than pretty much any phone out there, but that’s the whole point, to make a road warrior out of this smartphone, as there is a market out there for big battery devices. In any case, OUKITEL continued running the test, and after 7 hours of watching TV series, the phone had 70 percent of battery left. Now, if you’re planning on watching something on the phone for over 12 hours straight, well, that will not be a problem it seems, as the phone still had 15 percent of battery left after 17 hours of TV shows play time. At a 20-hour mark, the device was left with 6 percent of battery, and it died after 21 hours and 8 minutes.
The OUKITEL K10 is definitely not a phone for everyone, as it’s thicker than your regular smartphone, and bulkier in general, but if you’re looking for a smartphone with a truly huge battery on the inside, well, the OUKITEL K10 is definitely an option. In addition to an 11,000mAh battery, the OUKITEL K10 will also sport 6GB of RAM and a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display. The device will be fueled by the Helio P23 64-bit octa-core processor, and Android 7.1.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the phone.
