Satechi on Wednesday took to the latest iteration of the Consumer Electronics Show to announce its new offering in the form of the USB-C 75W Multiport Travel Charger compatible with a wide variety of devices, including contemporary Android smartphones. The gadget features four ports in total, with the two main ones being a USB Type-C connector and a port compatible with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0, today’s most ubiquitous fast charging solution in the Android segment. With a maximum output of 75W, the newly announced charger can use all of its four ports simultaneously, though the USB Type-C port unsurprisingly accounts for the most (60W) of its potential. The gadget also features two USB Type-A 3.0 ports and is highly compact so as to justify the “Travel” part of its official moniker.
The input range of 100-240V should keep travelers covered in the vast majority the world, with the charger itself being built in a relatively sturdy manner while still being small enough to fit into any backpack or even a pocket. Premium charging capabilities aside, the Satechi-made offering was designed with simplicity in mind and is just as straightforward to use as any other portable charger or a power bank. Besides Android smartphones and tablets, the Satechi USB-C 75W Multiport Travel Charger is also compatible with contemporary iPhones and iPads, whereas its USB Type-C port allows it to support other popular gadgets like the Nintendo Switch.

Only the Space Gray variant of the device has been announced so far and it’s currently unclear whether the accessory manufacturer will eventually ennoble the lineup with more color choices. Much like the majority of the company’s offerings, the USB-C 75W Multiport Travel Charger was designed to accommodate any lifestyle and device, thus being a relatively future-proof product that should serve you for many years to come. The only thing that’s missing from the gadget is Quick Charge 4.0 support but that technology has yet to even enter the mainstream smartphone market and probably won’t be available on sub-$100 chargers until at least next year anyway.
