SCOSCHE had introduced a new armband heart rate monitor yesterday, the RHYTHM 24, and today the company is back with yet another announcement. SCOSCHE has just announced a waterproof wireless speaker at CES 2018, the BoomBottle MM. This is the first such speaker in the company’s new series, and it’s made to be quite portable, it is a wireless speaker after all, and it should be an ideal partner for you if you decide to go camping or something of the sort.
The SCOSCHE BoomBottle MM features two six-watt speakers and two 40mm passive radiators, which should provide a full-range of crisp highs and deep bass as well, at least the company claims that is the case. This speaker is also IP67 certified for water and dust resistance, while the speaker comes with auto-sensing indoor / outdoor EQ, so it should adapt to its surroundings and provide the best possible sound in a specific environment. The BoomBottle MM comes with a magnetic portion at the top where you can place your smartphone and not worry whether it will slide off or not, while the bottom of the speaker is also magnetic, so you can safely put it on magnetic surfaces. On top of everything, this speaker also comes with a built-in bottle opener on the side, hence its name. This is basically a rugged speaker, as it comes with a military drop-tested design, says the company, while the speaker also comes with a bunch of buttons on the side, including buttons for play / pause, skipping tracks, volume controls. Now, there’s also a button that allows you to pair this speaker with another BoomBottle MM speaker if you’d like to get a true stereo audio or something of the sort.
The company said that the BoomBottle MM speaker is not yet available for purchase, but it will be in Spring 2018. SCOSCHE said that you’ll be able to get this speaker directly from its website, though ‘leading tech product retailers’ will also offer it in their retail stores, but SCOSCHE has failed to mention what retailers are we talking about here, though it’s possible that nothing is set in stone just yet, so stay tuned.
